Clara C. (Arruda) Supino
93, formerly of Cranston, died at Miriam Hospital on Sunday, March 9, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Mario Supino and daughter of the late Isador and Henrietta (Silva) Arruda. She was the beloved mother of Lisa Schultheis and her husband Conroy and cherished grandmother of Daniel and Alexander Schultheis whom she adored more than life itself.
She is survived by one sister, Dorothy Haddad of North Providence and predeceased by her brothers James, Tiofa, Gile, Gaspar and Daniel Arruda, and sisters, Theresa Cozzone and Laura Bruno. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored and surrounded her bedside with love during the last hours of her life. She is also survived by one son, Michael Supino of Buena Park, CA.
Clara was employed by the Providence School Department for many years retiring in 1982. She was a kind and loving person who was loved by everyone who met her.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, March 14th at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
