94, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn (Arnaldo) Long. Born in East Providence, he was the son of the late Helen (Cahill) Long.
Clarence was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II.
He is survived by his loving children, Evelyn Ferrara and her husband Paul of Cranston, Diane Degrandpre and her husband Richard of Cranston and Nancy Long of Chicago, IL. He was the cherished grandfather of Matthew Degrandpre, Eric Ferrara, Daniel Degrandpre, Jarrod Lark and Isaiah Lark; dear siblings Mildred Long and Russell Long both of Rehoboth, MA; uncle of Barbara Ann Arnoldo and Tom Arnoldo of Maine and John Arnoldo of Colorado. Clarence was also the loving father of the late Steven Long.
His funeral services will be private.
