of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Bastardi) Kitchegan. Born in Warwick, Claude was a son of the late William E. and V. Katherine (Schultz) Kitchegan. Mr. Kitchegan worked at Quality Engraving and Universal Engravers as a finish polisher and engraver. He was a member of the Finish Polisher and Engraver Association and Machine Printers and Engravers Association. Claude was an Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He enjoyed gardening and growing vegetables and flowers.
Besides his wife, Claude is survived by his devoted daughters, Claudia G. Harvey and her husband Daniel J. Harvey of Cranston, and Allyson R. Kitchegan and her companion Brendon Lazzaro of NY. He was the cherished grandfather of Nicholas Daniel Harvey, Landon G. Lazzaro and the late Daniel J. Harvey. Claude was the dear brother of William J. Kitchegan of MA, John G. Kitchegan of Warwick and Virginia Riley of North Kingstown. He was also the uncle of Steven Riley of North Kingstown and the late Erica Riley.
His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. George Maronite Church, Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial, with military honors, will take place in All Saints Cemetery in Warwick. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 5:00-8:00 p.m.
