Concetta J.'Etta' (Ricci) Martinelli

97, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday October 21, 2015 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Martinelli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Angelina (Scuncio) Ricci. Etta worked at Brown University for many years before retiring.
She was the devoted mother of Beverly Picerno and her husband Carl of Johnston with whom she lived for the past 31 years. She was the loving grandmother of Cheryl, Tami and Fred; loving great-grandmother of six and loving great-great-grandmother of one, and dear sister of Dorothy Serrecchia of Smithfield and the late Margaret Palmieri, Eleanor Marsocci, Eva DiCicco, Lillian DiPaolo, Florence, Frank, John and Thomas Ricci.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, on Monday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Augustine's Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Johnston. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
