Of Cranston, RI passed away on April 7, 2014, with her family by her side.
She was the wife of the late Venor (Mariorenzi) Morenzi.
Tina was born in Providence on August 10, 1920 to the late Giuseppe and Brigida (Sessa) Florio, and was the sister of the late Frank, Anthony, and Pasquale Florio and the late Katherine Searle.
She worked in the jewelry industry, starting her career at the former Imperial Pearl Co. and retiring from Monet Jewelry Co. She enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid Red Sox fan.
Tina became a young widow at the age of 39. She then devoted her entire life to her three children and was always proud of their accomplishments. Her loyalty to her family was unending.
She is survived by her children: Joseph A. Morenzi (aka "My Joe") of Cranston, and his companion, Kathy Krzanowski of North Providence; Frank M. Morenzi, of Cranston, and his fiancAC.e Effie Cavas, of Greenville; and Patricia A. (Morenzi) Tavarozzi and her husband, Louis, of Cranston. She also leaves her brother-in-law, Herbert Searle of Jamestown and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston, RI 02920 or to the R.I.S.P.C.A. in honor of Tina's "Granddogs" Holly and Mia, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI 02915.
