Concetta "Tina" Porreca-Pimental

50, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 surrounded by her loving family and friends.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Bruno Porreca, Sr. and Francesca (DeSimone) Porreca. Tina was a secretary for the Providence School Department for twenty-six years. For the past twenty years, Tina worked at Asa Messer Elementary School where she considered her co-workers her second family.

Besides her parents, Tina is survived by her two loving children, Haley and Simone Pimental both of Cranston. She was the cherished sister of Pasqualina “Pat” Mambro of North Providence, Bruno Porreca, Jr. of East Greenwich, Fiore Porreca of Johnston, Italia Porreca of Johnston and Antonio Porreca of Johnston. She was the loving companion of Joseph Jennings.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Avenue, Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
