Concetta (Scudieri) Ruggiero

98, of Cranston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Lorenzo Ruggiero, Sr. Born in Italy; she was a daughter of the late Luigi and Marie (Torci) Scudieri. Concetta was an assembler for various jewelry companies in the Providence area. She was member of the Kelley & Gazzero VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary, Cranston. Concetta enjoyed cooking and sharing her recipes with family and friends. She is survived by her loving children Lorenzo Ruggiero, Jr. of Exeter and Dianne Pascale and her husband David of Swansea, MA. Concetta was the cherished grandmother of Christopher, Maria, David, James, and Dena, and four great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Gloria Rossi of Cranston, and the late Anthony and Ralph Scudieri, Mary Deronde, Elena Razzo, and Dorothy Masciarotte. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME &Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday morning 9:00-10:00 a.m.
