Age 97, formerly of Orchard Drive in Cranston, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Ardente. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Francesco “Frank” and Giovannina “Jenny” (Rainone) Procaccini.
Connie worked as a beautician in the family-owned Avalon Beauty Salon in Providence along with her father and two sisters. She was an avid golfer and a proud, longtime member of the Alpine Country Club in Cranston, where she spent many cherished years as a member of the women’s golf league, and enjoyed the camaraderie of her many friends and golf enthusiasts.
Connie is survived by her beloved sister, Antonetta “Etta” Izzi of West Greenwich, along with eight nieces, six nephews, several great nieces, and nephews, as well as great-great nieces and nephews, all whom she loved dearly. She was the sister of the late Angela Rink, and Joseph Procaccini.
The family of Connie Ardente wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the devoted staff of Briarcliffe Gardens in Johnston. Your exceptional care, unwavering friendship, and genuine love brought Connie and family comfort and dignity throughout the past five years. We remain forever grateful for the compassion you all shared so generously.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Rocco’s Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend VISITATION Monday morning from 9-10am.
