Cynthia "Cindy" Amatel

71, of Orlando, FL, passed away at home on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Cindy was born in Elizabeth, NJ and raised in Cliffwood Beach, until she moved to Florida in the early 1970’s. She was really a Floridian at heart where she lived for over 50 years.

Cindy enjoyed life and her family. She worked for Disney World, and was a licensed beautician as well. She loved her niece Marissa, and nephews RJ and Christopher dearly. She gave generously to St. Jude’s and Shriners Hospitals for years. Her family and friends will miss her deeply.

Cindy was predeceased by her father Donald Amatel, mother Kathleen (Crilly) Amatel, brothers Donald, Thomas and Jeffrey Amatel. She is survived by her brother Vinny Amatel and his wife Edna, sister Nancy Walton and her husband Steve, and her baby brother Joseph Amatel.

Her cremation is private. Anyone wishing to make a memorial donation in her name may do so to Shriner’s or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Links to donate are below.

A private service will be held this summer down at the Jersey Shore. The family takes this time to thank the staff of College Park Towers in Orlando, where she last lived.
