Cynthia (Mattiace) Orlando

69, of Warwick, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Cynthia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and a cherished member of her family. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Modestina (Piccirillo) Mattiace.

Cynthia worked as a caregiver earlier in her life. She found joy in palm trees, sunshine, and memories of Florida. She loved to watch movies, read the bible and spend time with her daughter and grandchildren. Cynthia will be remembered for her sense of humor, her warmth, and her love for her family.

She is survived by her loving daughter Jessica Orlando; cherished grandmother of Maranda Orlando, Arianna Rivera, Antonio Joseph Rivera, and Sarena Rivera; sister of Elaine Perry (Hal), Mario Mattiace (Mary), and Linda Ritter.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, May 4th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 4:00-7:00 p.m.
