Daniel J. McDonald

54, of Narragansett passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2014. Born in White Plains, NY, he was a son of the late William B. and Elizabeth L. (Finn) McDonald Reed who died October 20, 2014. Dan was a technical sales representative for Synovia Solutions an information technology company. He was a graduate of Syracuse University, Class of 1983, with a BA in Communications. Dan was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity and the Lake Champlain Revelers Fraternity of Isle Lamotte. He was a member of Christ Church and the New Life Assembly Church. He was an avid fisherman and skier. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Dan was a dedicated and loving father. He will be missed by all who knew him. Dan is survived by his loving children, Rowdie, Mac, and Scout McDonald, all of Narragansett, and was the former husband of Natalie (Mairs) McDonald of Narragansett. Dan was the devoted brother of William B. McDonald, of West Hartford, CT, Kathleen A. McDonald of Denver, CO, Thomas R. McDonald of Waitsfield, VT, and James P. McDonald of Bethlehem, CT. He also leaves his best friend "Boston". His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111 Boston Neck Road (Rt.1A) Narragansett. Burial will be private.
