Dante V. DiSanto

86, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of sixty-one years to Mildred (Marcotrigiano) DiSanto. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Saull and Maria (Lombardi) DiSanto. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War era. Dante was employed in retail sales for the former Fairlane Paint Company of Providence and as a machinist at the Okonite Company of Ashton, RI before his retirement in 1990. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Sheila A. Quinn of North Providence, Brenda A. Forsyth and her husband John of Cranston, and Lori A. Gardiner of Cranston. Dante was the cherished grandfather of Holly-Anne Quinn, Jeffrey Forsyth, Julie-Anne Quinn, Andrew Forsyth, Ryan Gardiner, and Bradford Gardiner. He was the brother of Frank DeSanto of Barrington, Eleanor Wetzel of Warwick, and the late Frances Mullen, Edith DeCiantis, and John DiSanto. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Monday 4:00- 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dialysis Patient Assistance Fund of Warwick, 23 Larkspur Road, Warwick, RI 02886.
