David M. Casey

58, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, at RI Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betsy” (Ventresca) Casey. Born in Providence, he was the son of Walter Casey and the late Dolores (Santaniello) Casey. David is also survived by his sister Colleen Fitzpatrick, his nieces and nephews, John, Victoria, Geno, Melena, Alicia and Haley.

Mr. Casey was an inspector for the RI DOT for the past 37 years. David’s passion was cooking. David expressed his love for his family and friends through the amazing meals he cooked. He put his heart and soul into everything he did for both family and friends. He loved golfing, fishing, mushrooming and the Minnesota Vikings.

David’s last gift was the miracle of life, as he was an organ donor. David has said goodbye to us, he is taking one last drift.

His funeral will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023, in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m., followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial is respectfully omitted.
