David S. Coletta
62, of Steere Rd., Greenville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 13, 2015. He was the beloved husband for 38 years of Bonnie (Thistle) Coletta. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Rocco "Rocky" and Virginia M. (Viscolosi) Coletta.
David was a computer programmer for the State of RI - Department of Labor & Training for 32 years retiring in October 2014. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed music and was affectionately known for his smile.
Besides his wife Bonnie, David was the devoted father of Jenell M. Saraiva and her husband Paul and Stephany A. Coletta, all of Smithfield; loving grandfather of Antonio, Paulo and Gianna; and dear brother of Lawrence D. Coletta of Warwick and Doreen Ann Romano of Del-Ray Beach, FL.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
