David V. Marsella, 47 of Cranston passed away peacefully at home on Saturday April 4, 2026, with his family and close friends surrounding him. Born in Warwick he was the son of Vincent and Maureen (Carello) Marsella.
David was a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School Class of 1996, he then went on to attend New England Tech, graduating with an associates degree. He was an avid New York Yankees and Philadelphia Eagles Fan. Known for walking to the beat of his own drum, he never let any challenge he faced change him from doing things on his terms. His wild spirit led him to many adventures and activities; there wasn’t much that he couldn’t do once his mind was made up.
Besides his parents he is survived by his devoted sister Tara Malo and her husband Thomas, his beloved nieces Alyssa Richard, Ruthie Richard, and Gracyn Richard. He also leaves several extended family members, friends and his adored companions, his two cats Goku, and Vegeta.
Family would like to give a special acknowledgment to David’s caregivers from Hope Hospice and Lifetime Medical without them he would never have been able to stay at home.
His Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday April 19, 2026, at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be from 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to the ALS United Rhode Island, 2374 Post Rd. Suite 103, Warwick, RI 02886.
