David John Mergner

57, of Narragansett, passed away on November 8, 2018 . He was the beloved husband of Debra (Helfrich) Mergner . Born in Brick, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Robert and Jean (Hay) Mergner.  David was a forklift mechanic for Crellin Handling Equipment  in East Providence for many years until his retirement;  he was also a Navy veteran.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children Steve Mergner of Coventry and Sara Mergner of Narragansett, and was also the dear brother of James, Sharon (Nordahl) and the late Robbie and Mark.

His funeral services were private.
