David Minicucci, Jr., entered eternal rest on March 18, 2023. He was 94 years old. He was pre-deceased by Gloria Minicucci, his wife of 72 years. He was the son of David Minicucci, Sr. and Anna (Rizzo) Minicucci. He was raised and educated in the Providence School Systems and received his accounting degree from Bryant University.
David served in the U.S. Navy at the close of World War II, and in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. After his discharge from the Marine Corps, he worked for the Navy at Quonset Point as a Management systems analyst for 20 years, and then as a Supervisor in the Employer unit of the State of Rhode Island for 33 years.
He leaves behind 2 sons, David A. Minicucci and wife Janet of Littleton, Colorado and Robert A. Minicucci and wife Lisa of West Warwick, Rhode Island. He was the cherished grandfather of Alexis Minicucci of West Warwick, RI, Conrad Minicucci and wife Amie of Denver, Colorado, and Joseph Minicucci of Denver, Colorado. He was the great grandfather of Dreavyn and Lillian Minicucci of Denver, Colorado. David was the brother of Cosmo Minicucci, the late Jennie Carchia, and the late Mary Marsigliano.
VISITING HOURS will be held on Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. His funeral will take place Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, Cranston, RI. Entombment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
