DAVID J. 'FLIPPY' ROMANO
53, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island Philip Hulitar In-Patient Center in Providence.
Born in Providence he was the beloved son of Lucy Ferranti of Johnston.
Besides his mother he was the dear brother of Robert Ferranti, Sarah Pezza and Charlene Caparrelli. David was the dear nephew of Guy Romano and loving uncle of several nieces and nephews; and dear friend of Karen Amaral.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Church 65 Fruit Hill Ave. Providence at 12 noon.
Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
