49, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. Dawn was the loving wife of George McCarthy. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Russell Balasco and the late Joyce (Folcarelli) Balasco.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sister Nadine Balasco-Matheson and her husband Brian of Cape Coral, FL. Dawn was the niece to Fred and Lorna Cioci, David Folcarelli, and Douglas and Elizabeth Folcarelli.
Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 4-8 p.m.
