Debra A. Connolly

Debra A. Connolly, born on August 5, 1950, in Providence, Rhode Island, left this world peacefully on December 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved daughter of the late Roland and Angela (Rocchio) Borrasi. She was the loving wife of Robert Connolly; they had been married for the last 52 years. 

Debra was a dedicated Medical Technologist, holding an associate’s degree in her field. Throughout her career, she exemplified a heartfelt commitment to her patients, displaying an innate capacity to care for others. Her warmth and kindness were the hallmarks of her personality; she often prioritized the needs of others over her own. Even after retirement, Debra continued to share her compassionate spirit by volunteering at the senior center, reflecting her desire to give back to the community that had shaped her life.

In her personal life, whether it be a short-day trip, accompanying Robert on his endeavors as an official for competitive archery, or many extended vacations, every journey held significance for her. She enjoyed cooking, attending concerts, lunch with friends and relaxing days at the beach with family.

Debra was a proud mother to Christopher Connolly and Andrea Camara and her husband John, and she relished her role as a grandmother to Wesley Camara and Charlotte Camara. The bonds she shared with her family were profound, and she found joy in their achievements and milestones. She was the cherished sister of Roland Borrasi, and the late Ralph Borrasi. 

Her Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 am Tuesday December 30, 2025 at St. Augustine’s Church, situated at 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence, RI 02908. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 am at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
