Delores (Ravo) Melillo

87, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at HopeHealth Hospice, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony R. Melillo. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (DeMechele) Ravo. Delores dedicated many years as an assembler at Quill Pen, before retiring.

Known for her love of cooking, Delores took great joy in hosting Sunday dinners, particularly during the summer months by her pool, where laughter and family stories filled the air. She relished in pairing her delicious meals with a nice glass of wine, creating cherished memories for all who gathered around her table. She enjoyed time spent at the beach, Saturday night outings and trips to Atlantic City with her husband Anthony.

Delores is survived her loving children, Lorna Belanger and her husband Edward of Cranston, and Anthony J. Melillo and his wife Elena of Cranston. Cherished grandmother of Melissa Petrocchi (Anthony), Nicholas Belanger (Nicole), Alison Melillo, Abigail Melillo, and Vanessa Varone. Adored great grandmother of Luca and Amelia Petrocchi. Delores was also the sister to Joann Ravo of Johnston and leaves behind her very special niece, ToniAnn Salzillo, and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 31st, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
