Demetrio C. DiRocco

63, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Silvana (Campopiano) DiRocco. Born in Capriati a Volturno, Italy he was the son of the late Manlio and Maria (Fetta) DiRocco.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children Elena Caramante and her husband Jeffrey, Demetria DiRocco and her partner Cameron Monahan; cherished granddaughter Emilia Caramante; dear siblings Mariano DiRocco, Eugenia Rampone, Annavincenza DiRocco, Elena Cipriani, Amedeo DiRocco, Fiorentina DiRocco, Gina Silva, Nino DiRocco, and the late Oreste DiRocco and Tony DiRocco.

Demetrio was a self-employed plasterer for many years. He was a man of quiet strength and deep devotion. He lived a life rooted in tradition, values, and unwavering love for those closest to him. An avid outdoorsman, he found peace in hunting and fishing, and joy in tending to his garden. But above all, Demetrio cherished any moment that brought his family together — whether around a dinner table, during time spent outdoors, or simply in each other’s presence.

He dedicated his life to ensuring that his family always came first. His guidance, generosity, and unconditional support shaped the lives of those who knew him. His legacy will live on through the lessons he taught, the laughter he inspired, and the love he so freely gave.

VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday, July 31st from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Burial will be private.
