Dennis G. Samson

Of Cranston, RI passed away on November 24, 2017. Born in Colorado, he was the son of Sylvia and Gerald Samson. He leaves his wife Gloria (Garrett) to whom he was married for 62 years, he leaves his sons, M. David Samson and his wife Patricia of Massachusetts, and Timothy Samson and his wife Elizabeth of London, and his two grandchildren, Andrew and Sydney. He is also survived by his sisters, Marcia and her husband Sidney of California; and Judi and her husband Delbert of Colorado and by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter Anne in 1992.

Dennis was an aerospace engineer, working for Boeing Aircraft in Washington State as well as several organizations around the country. He changed careers, attending graduate school and was a marketing professional and analyst in Rochester, NY for many years. He and Gloria moved to Rhode Island in 1997. Dennis sang with the Eastman School Chorale as well as the Rochester Oratorio Society.
