Derry 'Poppa Nick' Millar
73, of Cranston, passed away at home on Monday, March 10, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Ruth (Bessette) Millar for 51 years. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late William and Gertrude (Stearns) Millar.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Elizabeth "Lisa" Millar of West Warwick, David Millar of Cranston, Teresa Della Porta of Johnston, Paula Pelland of Cranston, and the late Tracy Millar; 10 cherished grandchildren and 5 dear great-grandchildren.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 389 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will take place in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. VISITING HOURS will be Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m.
