73, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Briarcliffe Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of Gregory Burr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ettore and Dolores (Izzo) Pagano. A dedicated educator, Diana taught art in the Johnston School Department for 32 years. Her passion for the arts and commitment to her students were recognized in 2003 when she was named Art Educator of the Year by the Rhode Island Art Education Association. Beyond the classroom, she found joy in photography and in baking and cooking for her family, creating cherished memories around the table.
In addition to her husband Gregory, she is survived by her loving daughter Lauren Burr and her partner Scott Arms of Columbia, Maryland. Diana was predeceased by her loving son Michael Burr. She was the sister of Kenneth Pagano of Florida.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 4:00-7:00 p.m.
