Dolores R. (Johnson) Delpha

78, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence.  She was the beloved wife of John E. Delpha III.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Dorothy (Powers) Johnson.

Dolores loved her family holidays, her lunches with Evelyn, and steaks on Wednesday nights.  She loved some luck at the casino, and spending time with her late sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Leo, then her niece Barbara took over spending time with her which she loved.  She was happiest knowing that her two children were finally with their soulmates.

She is survived by her loving husband John E. Delpha III, her loving children Francine Martino and her husband Martin of Johnston and John E. Delpha IV and his wife Caitlin of Tyngsboro, MA.  She was the sister of the late Barbara and Leo Carpentieri.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston.  Burial will be private.  VISITING HOURS will be Friday from 6 - 8 p.m.
