96, of North Providence, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Gloria (Morra) Paliotti. Born in Pontecorvo, Italy, he immigrated to the United States in 1948. He was the son of the late John and Maria Civita (Sepe) Paliotti.
He lived in Providence before moving to North Providence, where he lived for the last 58 years. Domenico was employed by the Imperial Knife Company for 34 years and was a custodian for the North Providence School Department for 15 years. Domenico was an avid gardener who took great pride in his vegetable garden and the flowers he cultivated. His pride and joy of the garden was his fig tree. His other favorite pastime was to care for and cook for his beloved grandchildren, who affectionately referred to him as ¨poppy¨.
Called by many family members as ¨Uncle Tommy¨, Domenico is survived by his sister Rose Coppola of Cranston, his son, John Paliotti (Pam) of Foster, his grandchildren Natasha Zompa of Maine, Alyssa Marie (Brendan), Gabriella Marie, and Isabella Marie of Foster, his 8 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Lisa Marie Maggnotta, and the grandfather of the late Nicholas Zompa. Domenico was the brother of the late Mary Cioe, Joseph Paliotti, Anthony Paliotti, Anna Notardonato, Virginia Paliotti, and Eva Maria Paliotti.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, North Providence. Burial will be held in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday morning from 8:00-9:00 a.m.
