60, of Coventry died Thursday, September 25, 2014 after a long battle with Leukemia. He graduated from Cranston High School East in 1972 and served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Independence. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Donald truly enjoyed music, nature, the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was born in Providence the son of the late Donald L. and M. Rita Bouchard of Cranston, husband of Donna A. Mangiante-Bouchard, father of Naomi Langlais, Melissa Bouchard, Cari Barnhill, Cheyenne Moore, and stepfather of Pamela and Justin Mangiante. Donald was the brother of David B., Dennis L. and Daniel W. Bouchard and the late Denise M. (Bouchard) Santos; brother-in-law of Debra E., Lisa M. and Michelle L. Bouchard, Paul L. Santos, Steven and Lorraine Barney, Debra Brown, David and Lorraine Barney, Angel and Kenneth Ruizzo; grandfather of eleven, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Donald's family would like to thank The Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Roger Williams Cancer Center, and all his doctors, nurses, CNA's, and housekeeping staff for their compassion and friendship during his illness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 am in Assumption Church, 791 Potters Ave., Providence. Visiting hours are omitted. Burial with military honors in RI Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
