68, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Catherine Brown-Izzo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Mario D. and Antonetta “Etta” (Cambio) Izzo.
Donald was a security guard at Foxwood Resort Casino for the Mashentucket Pequot Tribe for 17 years. Previously, Donald was the owner of Izzo’s Landscaping and a retiree of General Electric. He was a Master Gunnery Sgt. 2nd Marine Airwing from 1964 to 1969; and was a graduate of the University of RI with a degree in Agronomy.
Besides his wife Catherine, he was the father of Nitasha Garcia and William Brown; brother of Ronald M. Izzo, Sr. and his wife Sylvia, Alan A. Izzo, Sr. and David A. Izzo, Sr. and his wife Annmarie; and also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 31st at 10 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
