Donald J. McCarthy

77, of Pawtucket, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Hope Hospice Center in Providence.  Born in Providence, March 21, 1940 and is the adopted son of the late James V. and Genevieve McCarthy.

He graduated LaSalle Academy and worked at Union Industries/Union Paper Co. for 35 years and retired from Walmart.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lorraine J. McCarthy, three step-children, Judy Lynn Grayko, Gregory Costa and Christopher Costa, three grandchildren, Ashley Costa, Tyler Grayko and Kelvin Costa and his sister Lois Fink of Murrells Inlet, SC, and many sister-in-law’s, brother-in-law’s, nieces and nephews.  He was brother of the late Jean and Walter Dolan.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Monday from 5 - 8 p.m.
