Donato Russo, Jr

76, of Providence, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved companion of 34 years to Marcia Fiore of Providence. Donato was born in Providence, a son of the late Donato Russo, Sr. and Maria (Sullo) Russo. Mr. Russo was the owner and operator of Russo and Johnston Floor Covering; and was a US Navy veteran. He was a former member of the Alpine Country Club and an avid golfer and bowler.
He is survived by his loving children, Karen Russo and Steven Russo, Sr. both of Johnston; cherished grandfather of Steven Jr and Louis Russo and dear brother of Vito Russo of North Providence and Concetta Cogean of Johnston. He was also the brother of the late Anthony Russo and Catherine Capobianco.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 10-11 am.
