Donna Marie Adessi
55, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at home, surrounded by her devoted family. She was a daughter of the late Edward and Elsie (Berardis) Adessi, Sr. Donna worked as a manager for Armbrust International, before her retirement. She was awarded Miss April 2014 for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.
She is survived by her sister Linda Adessi of Warwick, and is predeceased by her brother Edward Adessi, Jr. Donna also leaves behind her nephews; Ronald and Michael Gomes, and great nephews; Michael R. Gomes and Princeton M. Gomes.
Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Road, Johnston at 10:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation, 1100 Industrial Road, San Carlos, CA 94070.
