Doris R. (Daniels) Stone
80, of Cantaberry Lane, Coventry, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late George D. Stone. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Rose H. (Brown) Daniels.
Doris was a secretary at the former Speidel Corp. in Providence for over 30 years before retiring. She was a member of the Narragansett Chapter, Good Sam's Club; Traveling Needles Crocheting Group; and enjoyed traveling, camping and crafts.
Doris was the devoted mother of Richard A. Jensen of St. Petersburg, FL, Karen S. Cambio and her companion Paul J. Pignatelli of North Providence and Robert E. "Rusty" Stone and his wife Paige of North Kingstown; loving grandmother of nine; loving great-grandmother of two; and dear sister of Frederick Daniels, Jr. of CO, Robert Daniels of MN, Michael H. Brown of NC, Beverly Matteson of East Greenwich, Patricia Seminick of Lincoln and the late Alan Daniels.
Her Funeral Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd at 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by burial at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
