Dorothy E. (Schofield) Adams

85, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Dorothy was the wife of the late Russell M. Adams. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Evelyn (Roberts) Schofield. Dorothy was a member of Ramblin Squares Square Dancing Club and enjoyed painting in her later years. Her life, ultimately, was centered around her family. She is survived by her loving children, Richard M. Adams and his wife Marianne of North Kingstown, Robert M. Adams and his wife Suki, and Donna L. Cummings and her husband Jeffrey, all of Cranston, and the late Russell J. and Ronald M. Adams. Dorothy was the devoted grandmother of eight and great grandmother of nine. She was the sister of Raymond J. Schofield of Warwick. Her funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. VISITING HOURS are Friday from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
