Dorothy V. (DeSimone) Cilento

93, formerly of Cranston, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at South County Nursing & Rehabilitation in South Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Cilento, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Filomena (Ciano) DeSimone.

She was the devoted mother of Eugene Cilento, Jr. (Andrea), Lorraine Meschino, Diane Vernancio (Michael) and Joseph Cilento (Ronda); cherished grandmother of twelve; loving great-grandmother of nineteen; and dear sister of Joseph DeSimone, Anna Vanaria, Angelo DeSimone, Raymond DeSimone and the late Gloria Scardera.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 30th at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
