DOROTHY (CARROLL) INGERSON

95, of Smithfield, passed away peacefully, with family at her side, on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at North Bay Manor, Smithfield. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Charles. Dorothy was born in Providence, RI and was a daughter of the late Frank S. and the late Catherine (Martin ) Carroll. She is survived by her loving children, Joan Harding Horr and her husband Kenneth G. of Heath, MA, Charles F. M. Ingerson, of South Kingstown, RI and Boca Raton, FL, and Lee R. Ingerson of Cranston, RI. She was the cherished grandmother, affectionately known as "MiMi", to Barbara Hull, David Harding, Kelly Walsh, Jaime Carello, Kristen DiSanto, Tina Blais and the late Casey Ingerson, the great-grandmother of ten, and the great-great-grandmother of three. Dorothy is also survived by several extended family members, Geri Ingerson, Kathy O'Mara, Jane Ingerson, Mark Roy, Phyllis Klang and the late Thomas Connell. She was pre-deceased by a son-in-law Alvin Harding, a sister Doris Sanchez and 2 brothers Roger Carroll and Roger Gallant. Our grateful thanks to the loving and compassionate staff at North Bay Manor for their many kindnesses to Dorothy during her 5 years of residency. May God bless them all! Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, September 17th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church,
1525 Cranston Street, Cranston, RI. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. There are no calling hours per Dorothy's request. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Felician Sisters of Enfield CT, 1315 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT 06082.
