Dorothy (Cucino) Mathers

81, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was the beloved wife of Eugene E. Mathers. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Elsie (Petrosinelli) Cucino. Mrs. Mathers worked for the New England Telephone, Co. for many years. She was also a life-long member of the Telecom Pioneers of America.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her three sons, Steven and his wife Cynthia, Michael and his wife Deborah, Gary and his wife Kathleen. Mrs. Mathers was the cherished grandmother of seven and the late Andrew Mathers, great grandmother of one great grandson, and also the step-grandmother of two. She was the sister of the late Helen Casali, Florence Mignanelli, Emma Pagliarini, Evelyn, Frank and Alfred Cucino.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
