of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at her home in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Mizzoni. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Rampini) Carbone. Dorothy worked at the Temporary Disability Department for the State of Rhode Island for many years, until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to Foxwoods and was an avid poker player.
She is survived by her sons Thomas Mizzoni, CFD and David M. Mizzoni, CFD and his wife Jeanne Marie, all of Cranston. She was also the mother of the late Robert M. Mizzoni. Dorothy was the dear sister of Dolores Cairone of Smithfield, Guido Carbone of North Providence and Joseph Carbone of FL. She was the cherished grandmother of David, Amanda, and James Mizzoni. She was also the aunt of several nieces and nephews, and sister of the late Anna Carbone, Amelia Miele, Linda Crimaldi, Perry DiGregorio, Michael, Gino, Arthur, and Anthony Carbone.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 4-8 p.m.
