Dorothy A. (Ziemba) Piro

94, of Warwick, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter in Westerly. She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Piro. Born in Lincoln, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Veronica (Orzulak) Ziemba.

Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Ardine P. “Dede” Taylor of Cranston, Patriciann Taylor of Warwick, Maryann Piro of Wakefield, Emilia V. “Emmy” Borrelli and her husband Carmen of Westerly, Peter M. Piro of Warwick, and the late Laura E. DeFelice. She was the cherished grandmother of seven and the great-grandmother of six. Dorothy was the sister of Frances Borge of Florida and the late Stesfa Brown, Helen Ziemba, and Jennie Fulkerson.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Frances of Assisi Church, 618 Jefferson Blvd, Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 4-7 p.m.
