Earl F. Fenton, Sr
89, formerly of Viking Rd., Cranston, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Greenville Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Smithfield. He was the beloved husband of the late Catherine E. (Piacitelli) Fenton. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Timothy E. and Bertha L. (English) Fenton.
Earl was a machinist at BIF Industries for many years before his retirement. He was a WW-II veteran serving as a ship's cook in the United States Navy. He was a fan of Providence College Basketball, the New York Yankees and the New England Patriots.
Earl was the father of the late Earl F. Fenton, Jr.; brother of Margaret Pinney of Hope Valley and the late Edward, Raymond, Norman and Ruth Fenton. He was the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by burial with military honors at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. VISITING HOURS are THURSDAY MORNING from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
