EDMOND IAFRATI

88, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna R. (Angarella) Iafrati. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Carlo and Dora (Lanzi) Iafrati. Edmond was a self-employed cement contractor for thirty years. He was also employed by, General Fence Company of Providence and Citiworks Fence Company of Attleboro, MA before retiring in 1995. He was a US Navy veteran serving during WW II. He is survived by his loving children, Philip V. Iafrati and his wife Karen of Coventry, Karen A. Burdick of Coventry, and Carlo Iafrati and his wife Susan of Warwick. Edmond was the cherished grandfather of Gina Iafrati, Marci Sheppard, Mathew Iafrati, Michael Iafrati, and the late Richard Elliot. He was the great-grandfather of Talia, Daegan, and Lucca. He was the brother of Esther Caprio of Cranston, and the late Bianca Morretti, Philip and John Iafrati. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME &Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
