Edna V. (DeRobbio) Emma

96, of Gansett Ave., Cranston, passed away at home on February 23, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Emma. Born in Providence on April 20, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (DeRobbio) DeRobbio. She lived in Cranston for 65 years.

She leaves her son, Anthony L. Emma and his wife Lois, her daughter Marianne Renza and her husband Jack; six grandchildren, Anthony L. Emma, Jr. and his wife Lisa, Carolyn Emma Miller, Dr. Brian Miller, David Emma and his wife Jackie, Karen Emma and her late husband Edward L. Walsh, Jr., John S. Renza III and his wife Lauren, and Dr. Gregory J. Renza and his wife Lauren Marcello; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. “All who lit up her life”. She was the sister of the late Irene M. Gizzarelli and the late Elsie M. Santamaria.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 11:00 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will precede the service from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, please support the charity of your choice in her memory.
