Edward R. Giorgio, Sr

91, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday August 8, 2015 at Morgan Health Center in Johnston. He was the beloved husband of Rose (Palmieri) Giorgio. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Maria (Ferrigno) Giorgio. Edward was the Founder of the former Lady Ann Creations, Inc. of Providence. He was a member of the D.A. V.
Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Edward R. Giorgio, Jr. of Johnston; and loving grandfather of Chelsea. He was the dear brother of Anthony Giorgio of Johnston, Helen Mamande of Johnston, Flora McCormick of Indiana and the late Anna Purche and Theresa Brown.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave. Johnston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
