EDWARD MARTINO
89, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Wanda M. (Gruzza) Martino. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Paolo and Concetta (Migliozzi) Martino. Mr. Martino was a self-employed jewelry manufacturer for many years, before his retirement. He was a US Coast Guard veteran serving during WW II.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Edward was the brother of the late Joseph, Armand, and Guido "Skippy" Martino.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 11th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 538 Broadway, Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
