89, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Maria N. (Lombardo) Patonio. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Antonio and Cecilia (Caduto) Patonio.
Edward was employed by the Ciba Geigy Chemical Corp. until his retirement. He was an active communicant of St. Rocco's Church, having served as a Member and Past President of their Holy Name Society. He was also a World War II Army Veteran.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Dona Patonio of Cranston , and Angelina M. Lupo of Johnston; cherished grandchildren Angelica Lupo and William D. Lupo III; dear brother of the late Anna Florio, Theresa Delicarpine and Antonio Patonio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private.
