Edward C. Rossi

72, of Wakefield, passed away on Monday February 3, 2014 at So County Hospital, in Wakefield. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Groccia) Rossi. Edward was a school teacher for the Cranston School Department for 25 years before his retirement.
He was the dear brother of Peter R. Rossi and his wife Dolores of Narragansett; loving uncle of Peter R. Rossi, Jr. and his wife Anne, JoAnne M. Ramm and her husband James and Diane M. Kasper and her husband Peter, and great uncle of nine. Edward was a graduate of RI College and was also a Sgt. in the RI Army National Guard.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
VISITING HOURS ARE SATURDAY MORNING FROM 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
