Eileen Caldarella

91, of Cranston, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of March 18, 2026, at Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Born in 1934 to Victor and Mary (Pacheco) Rourke, Eileen grew up in East Providence with her brothers Raymond and Victor and her dear sister Cathy. She graduated from East Providence High School and later married Joseph Caldarella of Providence in 1957. They shared 54 wonderful years together.

A beautiful and loving woman, Eileen devoted herself to her family. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed making meals for her family, especially during holidays and family gatherings. She is survived by her four children: Joseph (and his wife Michele) of Edmonton, Canada; Paul (and his wife Andrea) of Provo, Utah; David of Cranston; and Michelle of Cranston. Eileen treasured time with her five grandchildren: Nicholas, Joey, AJ, Gemma, and Andrew and she will be greatly missed.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 9a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston, at 10a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

Visiting hours: Wednesday from 5-8pm.

In honor of Eileen’s memory, the family kindly asks that flowers be sent in her favorite color, pink.
