Elaine A. (Petrosinelli) Scittarelli

87, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at RI Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Elvio Scittarelli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano “Albert” and Rose (Lanni) Petrosinelli.

Elaine devoted 25 years at LaSalle Pharmacy, where she was known for her friendly demeanor and dependable presence. Beyond her work, she was a woman who cherished the simple joys of life. She enjoyed cooking and treasured the time spent with her family and friends. Elaine was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother, roles in which she found great happiness and fulfillment.

Her family was the cornerstone of her life. Elaine is lovingly remembered by her children, Paul Scittarelli and his partner Michael Merola, and Rossana Vallante and her late husband John Vallante. She is also survived by her brother, Everett Petrosinelli.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, April 23, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
