Eleanor M. (Pistocco) Maddalena
92, of Country Club Lane, Brockton, MA, died Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton with her family by her side.
Born in Providence, the daughter of the late Cosimo and Angelina (Torelli) Pistocco, she had lived in Brockton, MA for the past 36 years with her surviving husband Vincent J. Maddalena.
She enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening and Italian cooking for her family. She spent many summers at her cottage in Jamestown, RI.
She leaves one brother, Edmond Pistocco of North Providence; two children, Maryangela Ouellette of Middleboro, MA and Joseph Maddalena of Brockton, MA; three grandchildren, Michelle Carroll of Tampa, FL, Gina Morningstar of Easton, MA and Megan Ouellette of Framingham, MA; and two great grandchildren, Vincent and Walter Morningstar of Easton, MA. She was the sister of the late Harold Pistocco of Danbury, CT.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in The Church of St. Mark, 9 Garden Ct., Cranston, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
