Eleanor J. (Vanni) Santaniello

80 of Johnston, passed away on Thursday January 7, 2016 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Ermento "Tony" Santaniello. Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni Vanni and Vera (Cerio) Petit, and step-daughter of Joseph Petit of Warwick. Eleanor was a credit manager for the Providence Journal for 30 years before retiring. She was the devoted mother of the late John Santaniello. Besides her step-father Eleanor is survived by several loving cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church George Waterman Rd. Johnston. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Johnston.
